Hi, I'm Lachlan Sneff.

I try to be well-rounded in my interests.

I'm currently a 7th semester undergraduate at the Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Engineering Science. My background and interests include flight software, avionics, embedded software, electrical engineering, 3D printers, nanotechnology, and neuromorphic computing.

Here are some things I've worked on:

• My current main project is leading the electronics and embedded software for the avionics system that the SEDS chapter at my university needs for their custom nitrous oxide and ethanol rocket engine.<\li>
• I'm currently looking into building an open-source AFM .
• The original webassembly runtime used by wasmer.io.
• The Nebulet operating system and kernel.
  • Nebulet was an experimental operating system and kernel that ran webassembly in kernel mode to reduce system call overhead.

I also have a lab notebook to keep track of my various projects.

Ongoing Projects

Atomic Force Microscope I'm in the early stages of designing an inexpensive atomic force microscope that can be built using common hobbyist tools.

Ligeia A replacement for gtkwave, written in Rust with high-performance and larger-than-memory traces in mind.
